Sebring Son joins the new season sires

Sebring Sun to join the Glenthorne Park roster Sebring Sun (Sebring) will join the stallion ranks at Glenthorne Park this breeding season after retiring to stud earlier this year. The talented colt enjoyed his finest hour when third behind classy sprinters Exosphere (Lonhro) and Speak Fondly (Northern Meteor) in the Golden Rose Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) back in 2015, but also registered an impressive success in The Rosebud (Listed, 1200m) on his first start as a three-year-old. Sebring Sun was bought for $100,000 at Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale by Elite Thoroughbreds and is the first foal out of Soleil Royale (French Deputy), a half-sister to Australian bred Group 1-winning sprinter War Artist (Orpen). Sebring Sun will stand at Glenthorne Park at a fee of $3,300 (inc GST) in 2018.
