The Inglis Classic Yearling Sale has always carried a strong reputation as a type sale, with its graduates often out-performing their pedigrees. These days, while the stellar performances of its graduates on the track continue unabated, the Classic catalogue is a veritable treasure trove of exceptionally pedigreed yearlings that wouldn’t be out of place in any major catalogue. This year’s expanded Classic Sale, boasting 1,013 horses for auction (including the exciting Highway Session) forms part of a major 10-day event where the sale is perfectly timed to coincide with the inaugural $2 million Millennium for 2YOs and $1 million Inglis Sprint for 3YOs. The popular Gold Riband session will open proceedings on the evening of Saturday 9 February at Riverside Stables, adjacent to Warwick Farm Racecourse.
