NSW Breds Sweep HOTY Awards

New South Wales bred horses swept the board at Sunday evening’s Australian Horse of The Year awards in Brisbane taking all eight Thoroughbred categories. New South Wales based breeders also secured six of the eight awards, only Champion Stayer Jameka and 3yo Colt or Gelding winner Flying Artie preventing another clean sweep. Interestingly both of those horses were sired by then NSW based sires.

Winx was the star of the show winning the top award for a second time and also collecting the prize for the Champion Middle Distance horse.

Thoroughbred Breeders NSW would like to congratulate the connections of all the winners in what was a stellar year of racing.
