The Boys are Back in Town!

Coolmore Australia has a full house again with the arrival of their shuttle sires for this season joining established stars So You Think, Pierro and Pride of Dubai as well as young guns Home Affairs and Shinzo.

The shuttle sires arrived last Saturday and have settled back into their surrounds with exciting times ahead for Wootton Bassett (GB), whose first yearlings lit up Australasian sale rings this year and St Mark’s Basilica (Fr), whose first locally bred yearlings will sell in 2025.

All eyes will be on the first Aussie bred Wootton Bassett (GB) two year-olds this season.

The European Horse of the Year in 2021, St Mark’s Basilica was a Group I winner at two and even better at three retiring as a five time Group I winner from 1400 to 2100m. His speed, versatility and sheer class made him an exceptional racehorse and those attributes have the potential to make him a significant sire for the future.
