standing @ COOLMORE STUD, Jerry's Plains

High Chaparral is currently standing his first season at stud in Australia.

In 2009/10 High Chaparral finished tenth on the Australian General Sires list even though he was represented by only 33 runners. The fact that the nine stallions above him on this list were represented by an average of 221 runners adds to the merit of this achievement.

Even though his eldest Southern Hemisphere progeny have just turned four, he already lays claim to three individual Gr.1 winners including the three year old Cox Plate winner So You Think and the dual Gr.1 winners Shoot Out and Monaco Consul.
